Product category = Towel
Product Title Contains Shoe
We do this by creating a secondary tag “Towels And Shoes” that is populated within a MESA Filter conditional:
The ability to combine ‘AND’ and ‘OR’ logic in Shopify collections opens up a world of possibilities for store organization.
Enhanced Product Discovery and Navigation – This workflow significantly improves the customer’s browsing experience by allowing for more intuitive and sophisticated product categorization. By combining ‘AND’ and ‘OR’ logic in Shopify collections, customers can navigate through a more refined and relevant selection of products, leading to quicker discovery and potentially higher conversion rates.
Streamlined Inventory Management – The ability to create complex collections using both ‘AND’ and ‘OR’ logic simplifies inventory management. You can organize products more effectively, making it easier to manage and update collections based on stock levels, seasonal trends, or marketing campaigns. This granular level of control helps in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system.
Targeted Marketing Campaigns – Marketing teams can craft more targeted campaigns by creating collections that align precisely with the campaign’s theme or target audience. For instance, a collection can be created for a summer sale that includes ‘beachwear’ (OR logic) and ‘items under $50’ (AND logic). This tailored approach not only enhances the effectiveness of marketing efforts but also resonates more deeply with customers.
In summary, using this workflow circumvents the traditional limitations of Shopify’s collection logic. You can create collections that reflect a more complex, yet intuitive organization of your products, enhancing both the customer experience and your ability to showcase your products effectively.
