This workflow gives you a webhook URL that any app can post to, checks Shopify for a customer with that email, and creates a new customer with the name, email, phone and tags from the data it received.

FAQs
What format should the webhook data be in?
Send JSON with fields such as email, first_name, last_name and phone. MESA reads whatever fields you send, and you map them to the Shopify customer in the last step.
What happens if the customer already exists?
The filter stops the workflow, so no duplicate is created. You can update the existing customer instead, as described in the customizations.
Can I subscribe the customer to email marketing?
Yes, if your source collected consent. Map the consent field from the webhook to the customer's email marketing setting when creating them.
