6 steps to have Claude review every new Etsy draft before you publish it

Run once a day. Etsy has no draft-listing trigger in MESA, so the workflow checks for drafts on a schedule instead.

Fetch the shop's listings with state set to draft, including each listing's ID, title, tags, description, and last modified timestamp.

Go through the returned drafts one at a time.

Keep a draft only if its last modified timestamp is within the past day, so drafts already reviewed on an earlier run are skipped.

Send the draft's title, tags, and description with instructions to act as an Etsy SEO editor: suggest a title under 140 characters that leads with the words a buyer would search, exactly 13 tags of 20 characters or fewer, a description whose first two sentences say what the item is and who it's for, and list anything missing, as JSON.

Why does this run daily instead of the moment I save a draft?

MESA's Etsy triggers cover new orders and active listings, not drafts, so the workflow looks for recently edited drafts once a day. Run it more often if you publish the same day you draft.

Will it publish or edit my draft?

No. It only logs suggestions to the sheet. You copy the ones you like into the draft in Etsy, then publish as usual.

Can I get the suggestions by email instead of a sheet?

Yes. Swap the Google Sheets step for an Email step that sends Claude's suggestions to you for each draft.
