Auto-Publish Shopify Products with Image and Description

This step monitors your Shopify store for new products and captures all the product data needed for the workflow. It automatically triggers whenever a product is created, passing the product information to the next step for evaluation. No configuration is required - it simply watches for new products and starts the automation process immediately.

This step automatically fetches all images uploaded to the product and organizes them by position. It connects to your Shopify store using the product ID from the trigger and returns image data including position numbers, which determines the featured image (position 1). The image information gets passed to the next step to verify publishing requirements are met.

This step uses a loop filter to count images with position 1 (the featured image spot). It examines the image list from the previous step and returns a count of featured images. If the count is 1 or higher, it confirms the product has a featured image. This count gets combined with the description check in the next step to determine if the product is ready for publication.

This step checks two conditions before allowing the workflow to continue: the featured image count must be 1 or greater, and the product description field must not be empty. If both conditions are met, the workflow proceeds to publish the product. If either condition fails, the workflow stops and the product remains in draft status until these requirements are fulfilled.

This step updates the product's status field from "draft" to "active" in your Shopify admin. Once active, the product becomes visible to customers on your store's frontend and can be purchased. The status change happens automatically when the previous filter conditions are satisfied.

You'll need to configure which sales channel receives the published product by selecting from your available options like Online Store, Facebook, or other connected channels. Enter the publication ID for your desired sales channel in the configuration field. The product gets published immediately after the status update, completing the automated publishing process.
