Frequently asked questions
Will I get notifications for all orders or only those with Infinite Options customizations?
Only orders that include products with Infinite Options customizations will trigger this workflow. Regular orders without custom options won't generate Slack notifications, keeping your alerts focused on orders that need special attention.
Can I customize what information appears in the Slack notification?
Yes, you can edit the message template in the Send Message step to include additional order details like customer name, customization specifics, or order value. The workflow captures all order data from Infinite Options, so you have access to customize fields beyond just the order number.
What happens if my Slack workspace changes or the MESA app gets removed?
If the MESA Slack app is removed from your workspace, the workflow will fail to send notifications. You'll need to re-invite the MESA app and potentially reconfigure the channel selection. The workflow will resume sending notifications once the connection is restored.
