The step automatically connects to your Shopify store and retrieves your shop details, particularly your store domain. This information gets combined with the order ID to create a clickable admin link in your Slack message. No configuration is required - MESA handles the connection and data retrieval automatically. The shop domain gets formatted and passed to the Slack notification step.
Why this matters: This step delivers the formatted order notification to your chosen Slack channel so your team can immediately see and act on Infinite Options purchases.
You'll configure which Slack channel receives the notifications by selecting from your available channels. The message automatically includes the order number and a direct link to view the full order in your Shopify admin panel. Before selecting a channel, invite the MESA Slack app to your workspace by typing @MESA in any channel and clicking the invite button - private channels won't appear until you complete this step. The notification format is pre-built but you can customize the message text if needed.
