FAQs
Will the event fire again every time the order is updated?
It can, because Shopify sends an update for many order changes. Add a second tag such as klaviyo-sent at the end of the workflow and filter it out, so each order only creates the event once.
What if the customer isn't in Klaviyo yet?
Klaviyo creates a profile for the email when the event arrives, so the flow can still reach new customers.
Can I use the order details in my Klaviyo emails?
Yes. Every property you include on the event, like the order number or tag, is available in the flow's email and SMS templates.
