The trigger checks hourly for new credits applied, capturing details like the store domain, credit amount, and notes you included when issuing the credit. Once a credit is detected, this information flows to the Google Sheets step for logging.

You'll configure which columns to include in your tracking spreadsheet - the template offers Date Credit Issued, Time Credit Issued, Shopify Domain, Notes, and Amount fields. You can also name your spreadsheet during setup (something like "App Credits Tracking 2025" works well). The action automatically populates each row with the credit details from the trigger, formatting dates as "January 1, 2025" and times as "4:05pm" for easy reading.

This workflow tracks credits for the single app ID you configure in the trigger. If you have multiple apps, you'll need to set up separate workflows for each one, or modify the trigger to monitor multiple app IDs.
Can I backfill historical credit data into the spreadsheet?
Yes, run a Time Travel to backfill this data as far back a needed. This workflow only captures new credits going forward from when you activate it.
What happens if I change the spreadsheet structure after the workflow is running?
The workflow will continue adding rows with the original column structure you configured. If you want to change columns, you'll need to update the "Add Row" step configuration to match your new spreadsheet layout.
