Import Supplier Product Feeds Into Shopify From FTP
Suppliers and distributors often share their catalog as a CSV on an FTP server, and copying new items, prices and stock into Shopify by hand falls behind fast. This workflow reads each row of the supplier's CSV, creates a draft Shopify product for any SKU you don't carry yet, and updates price and inventory for the SKUs you already sell.

FAQs
Will new products go live right away?
No. New products are created as drafts, so you can add images, check the copy and publish them when they're ready.
What if the supplier replaces the whole file each day?
Point the trigger at the file pattern the supplier uses. The workflow matches rows by SKU, so a row for a product you already carry updates it rather than creating a duplicate.
Can I mark up the supplier's cost?
Yes. Add a transform step that multiplies the cost column by your markup before the price is set.
