Import Offline Orders Into Shopify From a Google Sheet
Orders taken at trade shows, over the phone, or on another platform often end up in a spreadsheet or a CSV export instead of Shopify. This workflow creates a Shopify order for every new row added to a Google Sheet, so you can paste in a CSV export or log sales as they happen, then writes the new Shopify order number back into the row so nothing gets imported twice.

FAQs
Can I import a CSV file of past orders this way?
Yes. Paste the CSV rows into the connected sheet, matching the column headers, and the workflow creates one Shopify order per new row.
Will this create duplicate orders?
The workflow only runs on new rows, and the filter skips any row that already has a value in the Shopify Order column, so editing a row doesn't create a second order.
Do imported orders send customer notifications?
That depends on how you configure the Create Order step. Leave customer notifications off when you're importing historical orders, and turn them on only for live orders you want the customer to hear about.
