Create Zendesk Tickets for Negative Judge.me Reviews

3 min setup
No coding required
Runs automatically

A one- or two-star review is often the only time an unhappy customer tells you something went wrong, and it's easy to miss in the Judge.me dashboard. This workflow starts whenever a new Judge.me review comes in, keeps only the low-rated ones, and opens a Zendesk ticket with the rating, the review text, the product and the reviewer's email, so your support team can reach out and fix the problem before it costs you another sale.

How it works

3 steps to turn every bad Judge.me review into a Zendesk ticket your team follows up on

judge.me logo icon

A customer leaves a new Judge.me review

App connector: Judge.me • Time to complete: 1 minute

Start whenever a new review is submitted in Judge.me, with its rating, title, body, product and reviewer details.

Keep only reviews of 2 stars or lower

App connector: Filter • Time to complete: 1 minute

Continue only if the review's rating is 2 or less, so happy reviews never create tickets. Change the threshold to 3 to also catch middling reviews.

Zendesk opens a ticket with the review and customer

App connector: Zendesk • Time to complete: 1 minute

Create a ticket with the reviewer's name and email as the requester, a subject like "2-star review on <product title>", the rating, review title and body in the description, a high priority, and a tag such as negative-review so the team can find these tickets later.

FAQs

Which reviews create a ticket?

Only reviews at or below the rating you set in the filter step, 2 stars by default. Every other review is ignored, so your Zendesk queue only gets reviews that need a follow-up.

Will the customer get an email from Zendesk?

That depends on your Zendesk triggers. If your account emails requesters when a ticket is created, the reviewer gets that message. You can create the ticket with the reviewer as requester but turn off that notification if you'd rather reach out personally first.

Does this reply to the review in Judge.me?

No. It opens a support ticket so your team can contact the customer privately. You can still post a public reply in Judge.me once the issue is resolved.

Personalize this template

Customize this workflow even further:

Assign tickets to a reviews group
Set a group on the Create Ticket step so negative reviews go straight to the agents who handle product quality or shipping problems.
Have Claude summarize the complaint
Add a Claude step before the ticket that sums up the complaint in one line and suggests a fix, and put it at the top of the ticket description.
