How it works

8 steps to turn an application form into an approved, tagged wholesale customer

Runs when someone submits the wholesale application form, with fields such as name, email, phone, company name and tax ID.

Do I need Shopify Plus for this?

No. The workflow only creates and tags customers, which works on every Shopify plan. Native B2B features are also available on every plan, so you can point the approval tag at whichever wholesale setup you use.

What happens when I decline an application?

The workflow stops at the approval step, so the customer keeps the wholesale-pending tag and never gets the wholesale tag or an invite. You can add a step that emails declined applicants if you want.

Can I use a different form tool?

Yes. Swap the MESA form trigger for any form app MESA connects to, or a webhook, as long as it passes the applicant's email.
