How it works

4 steps to turn every new spreadsheet row into a Trello card automatically

Start when a new row is added to the chosen spreadsheet and sheet. Expect columns such as Title, Details, Due Date, and Card Link.

App connector: Filter • Time to complete: 1 minute

Continue only if the Title column is not empty and the Card Link column is empty, so blank rows and rows that already have a card are skipped.

Create a card in the chosen board and list, using the Title column as the card name, the Details column as the description, and the Due Date column as the due date when it's filled in.

Write the new card's URL into the Card Link column of the same row, so the sheet shows which card each row became.

Will editing an existing row create another card?

No. The workflow only runs when a new row is created, and the filter skips any row that already has a value in the Card Link column.

Can different rows go to different Trello lists?

Yes. Add a List or Status column to the sheet and use filters to route each row to a different Create Card step, or map that column to the list in a single step.

What if several rows are pasted in at once?

Each new row triggers the workflow separately, so every pasted row gets its own Trello card and its own link written back.
