If you’re not able to use Shopify’s native Bundles app for one reason or another, and you need to define mappings between your bundle products and component products, here is a set of workflows to do that for you.

In our example Google Sheet, which you can copy, we are using the following mappings:
And we set up a View in the Inventory tab to see just the bundles and components:
And the workflows will trigger every time inventory is updated for either a component or a bundle and it will calculate the quantity for the related child/parent products and then update it.
NOTE: One thing we currently need to do manually for this workflow is to disable our standard duplicate webhook skipping. Just let us know when you’re setting this up and we’ll do that.
